Print on Demand (POD)

Print on Demand is a printing method we are using right now. Below are details on how it works, including the pros and cons.

  • Step 1.

Items are printed the moment a customer makes a purchase.

  • Step 2.

The printing vendor that's been preassigned to print the items, fulfil the customers orders.

  • Step 3.

The printing vendor then packages and posts the items to customers on my behalf.

  • The Pros

    • Essential items are available practically immediately.
    • The items are printed on AS Colour blank garments, which are made by one of the highest-quality garment manufacturers in the world.
    • Customers can choose from a wide range of sizes.
    • Customers can order as many items as they want.
    • There will always be stock available as long as AS Colour have them in stock.
    • I don't need to order bulk and wait weeks for stock to arrive.
    • The preassigned printing vendor is known for their trusted quality and professionalism.
  • The Cons

    • The items don't have custom-branded tags stitched into them.
    • They aren't quality-checked by me before packing and posting.
    • The items are printed on ready-made garments, not customized cut-and-sew garments.
    • The items won't include a custom branded swing tag or custom branded packaging.
    • The parcels won't include a personalised 'Thank You' note from me.

  • The Plan

    • The POD method will not be utilized permanently. It's for a limited time only, with the end date currently unknown.
    • The next stage of the plan is to have customized cut-and-sew garments made, complete with custom-branded tags, and incorporating any style of print, fabric, and cut.
    • The items will be quality-checked by me.
    • The items will be sent to customers with a personalised 'Thank You' note, inside custom branded packaging.
